Simply iconic 1960s Louis Féraud at Rembrandt woollen two piece. Soft ivory in colour with striking symmetrical black contrast butterfly wing inspired embroidery. The dress is structured with chunky straps & a silver clasp detail closure at the bust. The mid length skirt flares out from the wide panel waistband for a wonderful silhouette & a zip closure is present at the rear. The cape has an oversized collar with clasp at the neck & similarly flares out toward the hem. Size 12 on label which equates to a modern day size 10.
Measurements (these are taken from the rear of the garment when laid flat so need to be doubled where appropriate):

Material: Trevira with 45% new wool worsted
Condition: good overall, as photographed there is a mark on the dress at the base of the skirt & slight flecking to the shoulder of the cape. Although it says it is suitable for a wash cycle on the original label I would be very wary of attempting anything other than a specialist dry clean
