1970s Handmade Calico Ecru Cotton Mutton Sleeve Broderie Anglaise Trim Maxi Dress 8 10
An entirely wonderful 1970s handmade French calico cotton maxi dress. This piece is such a wrench to let go as if it fit me I would very much be keeping it! My favourite find from a recent sourcing trip to the markets of Paris. Lovely natural ecru in colour with a high neckline & long ballooned mutton sleeves with a sweet broderie anglaise trim. This is mirrored in triple panels either side of the bust as well as at the hem. Long flared skirt with wide pintuck panels for a lovely weight. Rear zip closure. Size 10.
Measurements (these are taken from the rear of the garment when laid flat so need to be doubled where appropriate):
Pit to pit: 18”
Waist: 14”
Full length: 55”
