The most amazing early 1970s dress by Laura Ashley with the coveted made in Wales label. Very rare medallion boxing hare print on a soft corduroy in a bright navy blue on a muted slate blue base. Lovely pintuck fitted bust detail & ballooned sleeves for a gorgeous silhouette. Mid length skirt which has been altered by a previous owner. Rear zip closure. Size 14 on label & suitable for modern day size 12-14.
Measurements (these are taken from the rear of the garment when laid flat so need to be doubled where appropriate):
Pit to pit: 19”
Waist: 16.5”
Full length: 45”
Material: cotton
Condition: slight fading in places but overall good for the age
